I was recommended this practice by my normal dentist to undertake a specialist procedure. I’ve had a very positive experience from the initial consultation explaining the procedure, and during the procedure & communications with the practice regarding booking progress and welcome from reception staff when I arrived. Also, the after care phone calls to check that I was OK and no problems following the treatment. So in summary, positive experience with dentist carrying out the procedure and with the other staff looking after me.
This is the first time I’ve visited Grange Dental Centre and it is lovely and welcoming, from the staff to the reading material whilst you wait. I was very nervous getting root canal and new bridge fixed. Tom, my dentist, stopped every time I needed a break, to get my breathing right, and he is patient, since he knows me from the other practice, not hurrying me out when he’d finished. I have MS and sometimes my legs don’t work when I get stressed. I’d definitely recommend this practice.
After many years of not visiting a dentist mostly as no previous issues I was forced to visit a dentist due to a cracked molar. My local dentist repaired temporarily but suggested a root canal to protect the tooth longer term. They referred me to Tom at the Grange stating he was superb at root canals and had state of the art equipment to ensure the best job. Following an initial consultation about a year ago, I was able to meet an appt for the procedure yesterday. Tom and the team were incredibly helpful and made me feel calm and assured throughout despite the process not being the most comfortable. Everything was fully and clearly explained throughout and they worked at pace to minimise any discomfort which I have to say was very little and pain free. I had to cancel appts a number of times over the last year due to work commitments but the staff at the grange always found the next convenient appt quickly. The practice itself is very clean, the staff welcoming and polite. Overall a brilliant place for any dental work and I highly recommend.
The Grange Dental practice overall was very decent. The root canal treatment done by Tom Brennan was booked in a timely manner, was done to the highest standard, with the most up-to-date equipment. Tom and his dental assistant were very professional, friendly, considerate and careful to explain in full what was happening. All praise to them. Unfortunately, my additional intention of having dental transplants done in the same practice fell thru because of an unacceptably long waiting time of 3 months for the 1st appointment in spite of an existing root infection abscess. Consequently, I am now having this seen to in another dental practice.
I felt totally at ease from beginning to end of both appointments with Tom for my root canal treatment. It was explained well and I was shown the steps of the treatment through the photos that Tom took as he worked. Excellent .
Been going here for dental treatment for over 30 years when it had a previous name. Can’t fault the service but the prices for a scale and polish are high and if it wasn’t for the luxury of having work dental cover I wouldn’t book. Such a shame basic dental treatments are becoming inaccessible for all.
I have had 3 sessions with Tom, who had the unenviable task of trying to save my tooth by performing a difficult Root Canal procedure. I am very happy to say that with his care, patience and expertise in stoically resolving my stubborn tooth issue, finally was completed to my delight this week. I would like to say that everyone, from the practice manager, through to the office and clinical staff who support patients at The Grange Dental have been very professional and caring. Many thanks to Tom and all the team at the practice.
I've not been to the dentist in so long and was really quite nervous about attending my first appointment but I have to say Harjit is lovely and there was nothing to be nervous about. I will now be a regular patient at this practice and be recommending to people I know.
Every aspect of this dental surgery has been excellent. I had old dental work that needed to be fixed for my long term dental health. My initial consultation with Rulah was great, she explained in detail every tooth on my xray and answered all questions and concerns I had. We worked together to come up with a plan for treatment. In the appointments Rulah and Sarah were amazing, set me at ease from the start and talked me through the process. Everyone I spoke to was so kind. I felt no pain and feel the most confident in my smile now. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
My husbands dentist recommended this surgery to look at a problem with his tooth. On the 20 January, TWO MONTHS BEFORE the appointment, he was asked to pay a £50 deposit. Whilst waiting for the appointment the tooth had to be extracted at his own surgery . He rang the Grange well in advance to cancel the appointment and asked for his deposit to be refunded, only to be told he had to go in approx 8 miles away to sign for the refund. He went in and signed the form but there is still no sign of his refund more than two months later! When you ring, very rarely does anyone answer and you have to leave a message. This is becoming so frustrating. I managed to speak to someone this morning who cannot put me through to Finance and said the Practice Manager is unfortunately in a meeting ‘all day’. They took the money quick enough but don’t seem to be able to process a simple refund. I really don’t know what the problem is!
