Just spent the weekend here with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Good food and drink, a nice room and not at all stuffy like some places can be. Brilliant cooked breakfast, and we had a great roast beef dinner on Sunday. We will definitely be back 👍

We stayed here for one night in the 'Lark' room. It was nicely decorated with a large modern bathroom and comfy bed. The room was so quiet so we got a great nights sleep. I would definately recommend this room - not sure what the other rooms are like

Very disappointed with our stay. We weren't given the room we booked and paid for (four-poster bed), and when we questioned it the staff there argued about what constitutes a four-poster bed!!! The room we were given wasn't in any of the photos online either, and the shower was at a fixed height of about 5'2", and either scolding or freezing, no in between. The shower screen was also broken so the floor was soaked when showering. The room was also way too hot, to the point where it was uncomfortable. All in all I was refunded an insulting £5, so paid for a regular room at £130 rather than my apparently 'luxury room' at £135. Would not recommend.

Well kept beers. Ok village ambiance. Not eaten here recently. Worth stopping for a few pints.

It is a nice place to gather with friends and family for a drink. Great selection of wines and beers.
