Beautiful location surrounded by quintessentially Cotswold buildings. Lovely relaxing spa with excellent pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Excellent food in The Swan restaurant with plenty of open log fires for winding down. Tennis court is old but fine for fun. Badminton court is outdoor on grass so prone to being muddy. Table tennis table is in a small outbuilding again fine for fun but you can't get round the sides. Superior room is a reasonable size, small but attractive bathroom, comfortable bed for a good night's sleep and we had 3 of them (night's rather than beds!). Staff we all friendly and helpful. Worth a walk to St Kenelm's Church lovely old working church, and behind which is the ruins of the Minster Lovell Hall and Dovecote.

The location is beyond beautiful. It's magical. The rooms are OK, maybe it's just the room we were in, but the bathroom was a bit underwhelming (no fan in the toilet and no windows). The food in the restaurant was below what we expected we really didn't enjoy our dinner and breakfast. I wouldn't recommend eating there. Also some of the stuff in the bar/restaurant were not welcoming or polite.

Beautiful surroundings, with plenty of history. Rooms are spaced out well, and offer picturesque views. Great for a stroll around the grounds, and perfect if you go for a room with an outdoor firepit. Staff are helpful and friendly, and you will be ideally situated for all locations that are must sees.

Wonderful little gem. My husband booked us a weekend away. What a perfect venue. It was like a mini village with everything on site but you still felt like you were the only two people there. We highly recommend the rooms with a terrace and fire pit on the riverbank, absolutely stunning. We loved sitting by the water on a summer's night toasting marshmallows and looking at the stars. Definitely staying here again. It'd be a lovely venue for a wedding too xxxx

A very nice hotel beautiful setting and grounds.....But we paid for a superior room which came with a cupboard to hang clothes but not a single draw and 2 hooks in the bathroom, very poor water pressure, a bath that you cant full more than 2 inches as its too large, we have a shower which is mounted over the bath at at knee height!, no mini bar/fridge! this is a 5 star rated hotel and at £180 a night these basics should be supplied. The bathroom is quite cold too but they do give you a portable oil heater! That said comfy bed, nice tea and coffee.
