Decent little pub. I enjoyed my time watching the football here. The old school decor is cool.

Lovely old fashioned city center pub with plenty of character. Great selection of beers and friendly staff. Whats not to like?

Used to go here quite a lot when I lived local, the music is better in here than a lot of city centre pubs.  Beer pretty good and usually a good vibe, never seems too quiet either.

lovely pub, martin was so welcoming & helpful, knocking up a brilliant vegan breakfast at short notice. lovely staff, clean & funky room, highly recommend - thank you! plus great music in the bar & vinyl records & player in our room

Lovely old fashioned pub. Barman was very  friendly and chatty. Covid-19 safety measures in place, including antibacterial hand gel at the entrance door with a signing in and out book. I've not tried it yet, but apparently the Sunday lunches are amazing.

Best pub, really cool old building with some quirky features. Can't beat going here on a cool evening after a walk down by the river.
