Awesome meal. Sunday roast was HUGE and lovely & hot. Steak & ale pie was also delicious. Cute old style pub, perfect for a lunch to fill us up before a long journey.
Lovely old pub. Great little find for our lunch. Recommend the Liver & Bacon or Sausages & Mash. Huge portions at very reasonable prices
A quiet place tucked away, the drinks were standard pub drinks we ordered food which came in a timely manner. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious, the icing on the cake was the 50%discount.
Sorry not a good experience, young lads hanging around chatting at the bar, tables had not been cleaned. In the present time we live this is not great. After all it's presently table service only, so for people to be chatting at the bar Inc the staff and the tables not clean is unacceptable. We visited around 6pm on Sunday.
Lovely food, pub grub. Service was very nice.
Atmosphere was fab! Owner is lovely & welcoming! What more do you need!!
We didn't have a first good impression. Quite good atmosphere but the food was not good, the fish was soaked in oil and not tasteful at all. Poor service. Wouldn't recommend based on today's experience.
An old feeling classic pub that you don't find much anymore. Food was fine and prices where fair
