Bit of a shame this place kind of felt it has all the hallmarks of a great pub just missing that spark very quiet and tucked away off Brook Street we where welcomed by a lovely lady who sorted out a big enough table for us. We ordered a few drinks and chatted away but there was just a abandoned feel to it.
Every year we come to Chester and always end up at this lovely pub. The food is great and the drinks are the best prices but most all the staff are lovely and there is always live music. Tonight Rigsbys cat were exceptional. Hope to see them again.

Good pub, 100meters from home, good location! There’s a beer garden as well.
Very clean and welcoming place. They serve big portions and for reasonable rates. We enjoyed the meals a lot and the staff members were very amiable and chatty. Will definitely recommend this place.
