Great place. Shame its s Closing, yet another nail in the coffin for decent regular pubs in chester. Heard its being replaced by yet another faceless restaurant. What a sell out.
Small and in an unusual location but, nice chatty staff. Very quiet during the day but ale was still top notch. Modern bar and is open until 3 or 4 in the morning, karaoke all night & place gets packed apparently if any of that appeals to you?.
In Chester, there are flashier, more expensive places to go. But, for good beer, served cheap? Head to the Plumbers!!!

Basic pub. No airs and graces. But great karaoke, clean ladies loos with look roll! Friendly staff and reasonable prices
Decent mid-city pub, one of the few good old back-street boozers left in Chester that haven't been turned into trendier places. If you want a trip to yesteryear in a good way this is for you.
This pub is a pleasant suprise. A proper traditional pub. Clean n friendly service. If you like a quiet afernoon pint.....this is the place. Karl O'Neill.
