We had a warm and lovely time at Fort St George yesterday. This is a very nice venue located along the River Cam in Cambridge. Make sure you reserve a window seating if you want to make the maximum out of your stay. The food we ordered was very tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. I recommend this place. Thank you.
Sat outside under good cover. Needs a beer menu as staff unable to provide information onbeers. But beer I had was good.
Great pub right along the river. The beer and food is all good but the clean breeze outdoor seating is the best. Plenty of people watching and the occasional cow walking by. Swans up and down the river. Prices are tge norm and easy walking into city center. I highly reccomend Fort St. George!
The place is really cozy and beautiful, it has amazing views of the river. The service is super good and it has good quality food.
Cold food, not cooked as requested, many items missing on the menu and I got given the "unexpected bank holiday" excuse, you know, those that just crop-up unexpectedly in the calendar, which scientist of Cambridge University are still hoping to be able to predict one day. As if the food was made fresh anyway.
Food took a very long time to be served I assume they forgot about my order as others in my table got it much earlier. Rude staff commenting behind our backs. They almost refused to give us tap water 30 minutes before closing.
Staff were excellent. Meals a bit on the small size Lovely a cosy on a wet day
