Popped in today for the first time despite having passed many times. So happy we did. Lovely and clean with a great atmosphere and absolutely superb staff. Such a pleasure to be greeted by people who seem genuinely happy to see you and have a pride in their job and the service. We will definitely be back.
Cosy pub in the centre of Cambridge. Nice atmosphere, staff is very friendly and prices are OK. The pub has a terrace, which is convenient now with the pandemic.
The staff was really friendly, and polite. I had a cod, peas and chips,it was sooo good I just had to take the rest at hlme with me. Congrats to the chef!
Pub has a great ambiance with themed decor and both indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed the cider here as well as the steak and ale pie.
We didn't eat in here so cannot comment on the food however the service was very good. It's a lovely pub in the middle of Cambridge with lots of character. I will be returning when next visiting the city.
Good tourist location, interesting outside dining area. Part of the Green King group of pubs. Good range of food on their menu. Yummy food!
Service was great! Staff were very upbeat! Great social distancing with the table set up! Really enjoyed the evening
This is an fantastic pub! The folks working there are friendly and nice and in general. We had a large portion of fish and chips and a local beer. The pub has a great college vibe and it is an absolute classic for the Magdalene alumni. Must go if you’re in the area!
Lovely quaint pub. They had no tables this particular Saturday but the chap on reception went out of his way to squeeze us in
Great staff and service. Kind of quirky
