I was only there for one drink on a Saturday afternoon, but it seems a great place. Quiet, no loud music or blaring TV. Traditional pub for people who want to relax with friends over a pint and not have to shout to be heard. I'll be back and could eventually give it five stars.
Me and my partner LOVE this pub! The staff make it - so welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a proper pub in Cambridge.
Always good to be here. Tribute was on point and got to savour the delightfully named "gay love". Shout out to Adrian and Joao
Real Ale in bubble glasses. A good place to get your beer goggles on and friendly bar staff, too!
Very friendly local pub, staff lovely.
This is a cosy classic pub with a lovely coal fire and friendly staff. It's clearly a popular spot with the locals. We had a nice couple of drinks in here but the beer options were quite limited compared to other places.
A very atmospheric and pleasant Cambridge pub with good beer. I went one lunchtime in January and there was an open fire burning. Good service. The only thing stopping me from giving the Champion a full 5 is the shortage of hot food with only cold bar snacks on offer.
Great pub, beer and hospitality. Landlord and locals very friendly. Landlord recommended other places to go but this was so good we went for food at the sister pub and returned here for the excellent ale.
If you always wanted to visit a pure English pub, search nowhere else. The atmosphere, the beer and most of all... people. Great bartender, great manager. Made me not only want to come back to the pub, but to Cambridge in general. Greetings from Croatia!
