Nice atmosphere, a large menu, nice selection of beers and amiable service. No one can ask for more. The big fish and chips was indeed big, a full size meal. I will definitely come back.
Went to watch the football a couple of weeks ago. Phoned ahead and booked a table and was impressed by how helpful the staff were - that’s not always the case in a city centre pub. Well run and friendly place to have a drink. Highly recommended.

The staff are always very welcoming and helpful . Just booked a festive meal for 6 adults and one of the staff helped me to do it as I couldn't which was very kind of her. All Covid 19 restrictions in place. A great place to go ....I highly recommend it !!!!
Lovely little pub. Very cozy and clean. Helpful friendly staff. Table service at the moment never had long to wait to be served. And a lovely meal
Fantastic pub boasts a great range of refreshments to suit most pallets. What a lovely location right opposite St John's College which is one of the gems in Cambridge.
It's a very strange name but if you can get past that you'll love it. Called in here twice during our brief stay in Cambridge because the staff were fabulous and we felt so safe and welcome. Every C19 safety measure is followed to the letter. Lovely outside area and great staff too.
Often visit here with friends for a couple pints. Great, friendly staff and good option of drinks and food. Its great to see more than one vegan option on the menu too!

Lovely traditional pub meal, massive menu of meals and drink to choose from, staff are super lovely and helpful plus the music was great!! Will definitely be returning!!
