Totally mad place. Very local and filled with friendly characters it felt a bit like being in an episode of the league of gentlemen. But £2 a pint is ridiculous. This place even has its own wiki page!!!
I prefer the place since the refurbishment, since you could barely move or find a seat prior. Their beers are great and varied, with a couple of guest ales. Only good as a watering hole really, but characterful. If you like casual running, join the Monday night "hash" at 7pm!
A very cosy and friendly pub, tucked away a little out of the town centre! They have a good selection of drinks with very reasonable pricing, and we were pleasantly surprised to be given a student discount too. It's rather small inside so not great for big groups, but a lovely place for a few people to spend an evening.
My first visit but it won't be my last. Small and friendly, a great half of stout and friendly staff. It is small but unless a couple of rugby teams pour in together that's not a major problem.
Small pub at the end of King's Street, cosy atmosphere, perfect for people who appreciate the fine art of rowing. A reasonable range of real ales available. A good Cambridge pub that should be on your visit list.
Used to be a great little pub, but terrible experience recently due to a really rude barman who refused to serve me and two friends for no apparent reason, then accused us of being on drugs after he couldn't think of a valid reason? Asked us to leave, which is fine in itself, he has the right to do so, but was extremely rude, unhelpful and unfair. I don't understand why he felt he had to be that way.
This cosy pub is a perfect endor start to pub crawling in Cambridge on a Monday night. Our bartender, Reikes, I believe, also performed a magic trick. Quite the personable lad, and made our stop all the more memorable. Ciders available as well, and a reasonably stocked bar.
Cambridge's smallest pub, it currently has a range of real ales on offer usually 6 as well as Brewdog IPA. Recently taken over by new management, the beer quality has improved drastically.
Small but cute pub with a good selection of beers, No food and fue spirits however. Staff and friendly and down for a laff.
Surprisingly decent little pub with a good selection of drinks and a nice atmosphere. Rather small but, on the other hand, often not very busy.
