I would say this was easily the best meal I've ever had in my entire life. A very small restaurant. Only Twelve Tables and very personal service. I enjoyed the entire dining experience from beginning to end. When I return to London the five fields will be at the top of my list of restaurants. I would definitely recommend the tasting menu with or without the wine pairings. If they offer you the cheese course please take the cheese. The dessert was good but the only thing the left me wanting for more was our takeaway dessert. I have attached a couple pictures from some of the food we enjoyed. The atmosphere was perfect for a group of close friends or a date. Although the tables were small although the tables are small there was plenty of room to cozy up in enjoy a wonderful meal.

Watch out for the spices! The broccoli starter is heavily curried, without much warning. And spices creep in everywhere. Service is very good, albeit the ambience feels very 1960’s with its hessian wall panels. In the mini heatwave the air conditioning produced a mild chill which we could have done without. But the food didn’t work for me. My wife enjoyed her roe deer main course, but it looked like a car crash on the M25! My own mutton was OK, but fussy. Amuse-bouches were definitely an acquired taste. Puddings were the best part of the meal, but by then it was too late. Back home for a brandy to wash the taste away....and none too cheap either.

The place is superb, the food was gorgeous and extremely tasty. Kudos to the Belgian gentleman who introduced us the menu in both English and French! The desserts were great.

Gorgeous taster menu, great choice of beers all in an impeccably presented restaurant in a Chelsea back street. To cap it all the service was very friendly and attentive. Memorable place....
