Dinner by Heston Blumenthal

Started on a very good note with my starter of octopus, but the entree (prime rib) was very OK and the wait staff moved like snails, slower and slower as the time went by. We ordered the prime rib medium rare and much of the fat was solid. To be fair, that is likely how it was eaten hundreds of years ago... If you do choose to try this restaurant, don't accept a reservation after 8pm latest because after 10pm they stop paying attention to guests and just care about cleaning up so they can get home. Inherently there's nothing wrong with this, it's only an issue because they accept reservations way later than they are capable of responsibly supporting (we had one at 9:45 and it wasn't even the latest option)

Amazing food. My favourite dish was the beet and saffron risotto. We didn't have the signature meatfruit dish but we would a next time. It looked really beautiful. Also the ice cream they make at your table was spectacular. Great wine selection as you would expect.

Amazing dinner experience with superb services, the team is extremely helpful making the occasion extra special. Not to mention the excellent food, especially the choice of starters! Don’t miss the meat fruit, Earl grey salmon and tipsy cake. :)

Loved it! Great honest food, plated without fluff and pretence. Outstanding service and ambience to match! 😊 On this visit I had the Hereford Ribeye (c1830) with triple cooked chips and Ice cream for dessert. I never thought chips could be this good!! 🤗

We didn't enjoy our evening the way we had hoped for. We arrived 15 minutes early but our table wasn't ready and we were made to wait for next to an hour... The dishes were ok but the overall experience was well below expectations.
