A beautifully laid out mini museum with very informative displays. There are events on throughout the year, as well as tours and a gift shop with a beautiful range of items and books. The Lawrence home is just gorgeous, albeit small! Every Christmas I take my daughter to see the 'Christmas Fairy' here and it's far more magical than any santa.

Very absorbing museum. First a very interesting room full of DHL exhibits including a number of his watercolours (I did not even know that he was an accomplished painter). Then a 10 minute video presentation before being taken into the house in which he was born and a guided tour of both inside and outside the house. All in all, a very satisfying visit lasting about 90 minutes. Parking very easy less than 100m away and costing only £1 for 2 hours.
