A lovely little venue - although I went for a Steampunk event. Quite an eclectic mix of things on display inside & out. There's a small cafe on-site as well. It's very close to town centre & there is free on-street parking close by & inexpensive parking in car parks close by.
An interesting way to while away an hour. Not that much to see but it's good local history that would be lost if it wasn't for places like this.nI liked it.
Erewash Museum and Gardens was not something I expected because based on photos in Google maps they had a sun deck chair, but when I visited twice it was empty, but the good stuff is inside the museum, cafe and car park. Other than that there is nothing to do outside
It has a nice cafe that is not expensive. The museum is brilliant and needs more support before the council closes it down for good. Great place to take the kids for free.
I visited the museum today for the first time. It is a lovely place to go and explore. Lots of interesting historical information, about places in Erewash. Particularly liked the crochet soldier. Great to take the kids to and love the fact that there is a neurodiverse quiet area for anyone who needs to use it. All staff and volunteers were very accommodating and made everyone welcome. The cafe is highly recommended. Shall return again.
