I liked at the friendly atmosphere and that dogs are very welcome here. My friend had the roast beef which they were pleased with. I had the wild tortellini and was extremely disappointed when it arrived. It was four pieces of pasta in a shallow soup with a few vegetables thrown it. Completely unsatisfactory portion size for £13. Poor menu for vegetarians. Good pub for a drink, but the pub about 300 yards down the road has a far better menu and is more reasonable.

Another great meal on Friday night and the beers are spot on. Friendly and helpful staff. Seems to be getting increasingly popular so worth booking at busy times

If you are looking for a bankable little regular to go for a meal-look no further. The food is on point, a wide enough selection to satisfy people of fussy tastes, but narrow enough to ensure every dish is executed well. This is also a really great place for drinks if you like wine or Gin (I don't drink beer but if their selection is as good as the former mentioned you will be pleased). A winner every time!

Went here on anniversary and had a lovely meal. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Good selection of wine available. My wife had goats cheese & red onion tart for starter and it looked fantastic. I had pate which was delicious. Lamb & steak for main also tasty. Ice cream desserts took a while to arrive but that was not a big prob. We would have liked more dessert choices. The Cricketers is popular so make sure you book.

Lovely little pub to stop for a drink and or food. Staff are extremely friendly. Inside is so cosy with a real country village feeling. Really enjoyable atmosphere. I've been here in to summer and sat outside with a coffee and also have visited in the winter months and sat inside, both equally as pleasant and relaxing.
