The Coach & Horses

About

Whether enjoying lunch on the decking or a beer on the patio, dinner in the restaurant or a quiet pint in front of the fire, we have something for everyone

Story

The Coach and Horses on The Green has always been associated with travel and has been providing the families of Croxley Green with journeys since 1744. Whether enjoying lunch on the decking or a beer on the patio, dinner in the restaurant or a quiet pint in front of the porch, The Coach has something for everyone.

The larger of the two pubs on the famous Green, it has been lovingly restored to former glories and enjoys an enormous outdoor seating play area for families where you can bask in the warmth of the friendly service.

The food served is simple, tasty, hearty and nostalgic with an emphasis on sharing and there is a wonderful range of cask ales, continental beers and a fabulous wine list too.

Good pub food, we had burgers and can recommend them. Fast and good service. There's a restaurant section but food can also be had in the pub area. There's a nice play area outside for kids.

Lovely pub with a warm welcome and friendly service. Above average pub food. Went for lunch with friends and realised we had stayed so long so we had dinner as well. Good selection of wines and beers and I love the beer garden when the sun is shining.

Pleasant looking pub on the village green. The young landlord needs to spend some money and paint the toilet doors that are very badly worn and dirty. Can't comment on the in-house restaurant food and quality as we only went to the pub for a drink. My friend thought the 1 pint of Guinness and blackcurrant at £4.70 was dearer than normal although the 1 pint of lager I had was reasonable.
