The best beer selection of any pub I have ever been to and I have been to a few. Quirky, interesting and original real ales. On the downside its a bit of a locals pub and not especially welcoming - the landlord is a bit of a grump.

Excellent rotating range of well kept beers ... no lagers, no Guinness, no lunches, just carefully sourced pies and pasties, and cheerfully well informed publicans and staff. Well worth a journey. In short, excellent pub in ways that very few are nowadays.

Stopped off on the way to the airport But what a find!! Shhhhhhhh
Very good value for one of the best   pint of beer 
Will make a habit to pop in again

Thanks for coffee today, was a lifesaver. Wish I could have a pub like this as my local. Many thanks to the regular who sorted door out for me while. I carried tray out.... sort of sums the place up. Dog loved garden as did I.
