Might be better suited for those looking for a pint while they watch a match as the food is only OK, but the prices are in line with the higher city centre restaurant prices where the food is the star of the show. Dog friendly, though, so that's a plus!Food: 3/5
Food is amazing and the relaxed family and dog friendly atmosphere is a pleasure and not forgetting all the new beers and larger.Food: 5/5
Good food, great service, fantastic staff. Real ales. Great outdoor area. Manager and son are amazing people with lovely dogs, probably why it's so dog friendly. Honestly such lovely peopleFood: 5/5
Love the steak and chips here, the sirloin is delicious and very good quality and a great big size. They have a deal on Thursdays 2 steak & chips for £20, and it is worth every penny. Absolutely delicious and well made, great chef. The servers/waitresses are so sweet and kind, really amazing service. I usually get the the homemade sticky toffee pudding, it is truly delicious and a delicacy. Great atmosphere, great service, great food and great prices.
We booked for 5 people, then we added another 4, no problem, food fantastic, atmosphere great, service brilliant. After visiting our mam in hospital, we wanted somewhere close to have lunch as it was late afternoon, couldn't not be more helpful and relaxed. Will definitely call in again. Thanks everyone .Food: 5/5
Absolutely hands down the worst place to eat even the salad was off mashed potatoes powdered then reheated veg overcooked. He ate it but complained the whole way through. My veggie burger fries and salad largely went back to the kitchen... what didn't went down the loo shortly after getting home... definitely never eating here again Vegetarian options: Don't go... simply put choices poor and tastes like poo
Ordered from World Of Wings which I think is in the Cosy Dove? Fantastic wings and fries, plenty of flavour and real meaty wings. I had the Korean BBQ wings which is highly recommend. I ordered via Uber Eats and the food arrived in 30 minutes which you cannot fault. Wouldn’t think twice about orders ring from here again.
My daughter recommended this place and we were not disappointed, lovely food and service is great , also I love the fact they accept dogs even bought some doggie treats . Great place and we are fussy .Food: 5/5
Nice pub and nice British food. I've been there twice and I would recommend to go there any day except Sunday, because the Sunday's menu has less variety. But food is good, specially the fish and chips and the stews.
It's a fantastic place just outside the hustle and bustle of city centre but each time I go I order food. It was light snacks and sandwich yesterday. I like the fact eating area and drinks are separated although you can still stop and order drinks after you've eaten so it's very relaxed. I think it's a hidden gem and gin bar is amazing.
