Really impressed with this place. Popped in twice now and enjoyed a great selection of beer and ale every time. I've been with a large group on both occasions, and still managed to find a spot for us all to get together and have a good chat. Certainly beats the chain pubs by a country mile. The staff are very friendly, helpful and clearly understand their product. Had some brilliant recommendations from them. The choice is fairly eclectic, so if you fancy trying something new, make sure you pop in.
Neat bar with cool decor and great selection of ales to choose from. I normally drink Guinness so was advised by the bar staff to go for the Milky stout and it was really smooth. Unfortunately the main food menu wasn't being served so the only option was the bar menu chips, sausage rolls etc.
