Food spot on really really nice, comes out hot as well which is a bonus. Cannie little pub in Newcastle, opposite Newcastle United football ground. The food really is nice I've had few from the menu so far and I havnt been disappointed yet. Generous portion size at affordable prices and the drinks nice also. Been many times now and will return with either family or friends. Staff are cannie also x

Visited to watch an away match with the crowds and the atmosphere were amazing, friendly people even if some were highly intoxicated and got thrown out. The bar staff were fast but the service I had was very poor, rolling eyes having asked for a 2nd drink, ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU CAN'T HEAR ME AND WALKED OFF AFTER I SAID THE FIRST DRINK. Instead of just totalling up and shoving the card machine in my face, how about asking if there is anything else I would like before you complete the transaction. Basic customer service skills which the women didn't seem to have. Saying that, they were swift to exit those who were becoming out of control and in all, had a great time there.

Supercosy old-school pub and also piece of Newcastle history. Original design, walls full of posters, photos and Uniteds memorabilia. Best place to watch Premier League.. but expect crowds on a gameday obviously. There's also an outdoor large terrace on the top floor. Simply... NUFC supporters pub!
I have wanted to visit the Strawberry for a long time but never got around to it⁰0 till Wednesday. Walking in and seeing all the pictures and memorabilia was probably a little bit better than I had expected and i was expecting a lot. We got a truly warm welcome when we ordered our drinks at the bar.The service was good and the lady behind the bar was also busy going around sanitising the tables. On every table there was a bottle of hand sanitizer which quite surprised me. If you are a Newcastle United supporter I would highly recommend calling in The Stawberry for a drink and a look at the pictures and memorabilia. If you have a walk up the stairs to the balcony you get a great view of St James' Park.
This place must be the most commondating place the staff are absolutely spot on always do anything to help make your night enjoyable run their socks off to cater for your needs friendly & if you've known them for years. HATS OFF TO YOU ALL Not many pubs nowadays are as friendly as this one 5
