Welcome Stranger is a fantastic restaurant and take away. The food is lovely and you always walk away with a full stomach. You have to be careful not to eat too much because it's that good in my opinion! The staff are very friendly and you always see the owner around and occasionally stopping to have a nice chat. Would definitely recommend going there for a meal if you're in the area and will make this place a regular go to for a meal myself.

What delicious fish and chips! Lovely and hot with crispy batter. The staff were friendly and made us all feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Every year for the last 5 yrs we have visited this restaurant but last night the fish batter was very fatty. We were very disappointed as we had been looking forward to our meal. Hopefully this was just a one off as it is usually excellent

Terrific food and excellent service. The staff are first class and very helpful, that's why I give it five Stars​. You will not be disappointed.

Cane with family for a lovely meal. I have to say it's the best fish I have had. The staff are so welcoming, great atmosphere. Advise to pre book table as it's very popular place to visit. Would defiantly recommend to anyone coming to the area. Thank you for a lovely visit
