Spring rolls and prawn toast were good but everything else was tasteless and runny bland sauces.
Ordered vegetable spring rolls, but they were incredibly fishy. Must have mixed up the vegetable spring rolls with prawn spring rolls or something. Very strange, and certainly not as advertised. Definitely makes me hesitate to try them again if they’re selling mislabelled foods, particularly when shellfish/ sea food allergies are one of the 9 biggest ones.
Food was excellent, really tasty. What let the place down was front of house customer service. A hello, goodbye, Thank you for you order or a simple polite friendly smile would have sufficed. To the young lady in question, so sorry to have put you out by placing an order................................Had a Chinese from there again last night.. ten out of ten for food AND ten out of ten for customer service. Lady and gentleman serving last night were really lovely... it makes such a difference. Thank you for a really lovely meal and please keep it up with the great smiles and welcome.
Everything was good until I got to dessert Banana Fritters was clearly rotten . Called them ,they said sorry I don't understand what I am saying I asked is there anyone else who can I speak with again no understand . For sure not ordering from them again
Gentleman on the phone, rude customer service, answered the phone and all we asked was whether it was still open for collection. He abruptly replied 'no' and then just hung up!! This was quarter past 10 on a Friday night after the line was busy for a while. Its the same guy over the counter from our last visit where he gave customers prawn crackers for free then when we questioned how to qualify if it was over a certain spend his reply was because he knew them! I wouldn't trust this guy as the face of my business driving potential returning customers away with his lack of service skills! Great food but staff training required as this man clearly hates his job!
Went a while ago, the place smelled like cigarettes and the chicken balls were really dry. Sweet and sour sauce was very vinegary... not a great experience for us.
My wife has a shellfish allergy. Before we ordered she asked if there was any in there and they replied NO. When we received it we checked and there was prawns in there. If we didn't check she could of been seriously ill. So when we rang to complain all they had to say was "oh dear I don't know what you want us to say or do" dreadful attitude towards a serious situation..
Had the House Special Meat Satay and Chicken with Cashews.Lovely vegetables in both & really enjoyed it. Was not charged a penny for delivery,despite only spending £12 or so.I think the minimum spend for delivery is £10,but do check when ordering.
Nice food. Very generous portions. Friendly staff. Lots of choices on the menu. It's not wheelchair accessible hence 4 stars. Some Bodmin stores are like that unfortunately. Home delivery available.
Not every Chinese Takeaway in Bodmin offers delivery - Lucky House does. Staff were very friendly and accomodating of our requests,since we didn't have a menu.
