My husband and I planned a trip to Bodmin for charity shop shopping, so I looked around for a restaurant for us to stop at. I came across Pots and looked at the reviews. I actually respect an owner who addresses issues/defends their business. I purposely picked this restaurant to make my own review about it. I'm glad we went! It was such a great place. The food was so tasty and plentiful! The prices were very reasonable. The staff served with a smile. Unfortunately, some restaurants bad reviews are from people unhappy in general, so they need to complain. I couldn't find anything wrong with the place...the bathroom is small, but that can't be helped , it was very clean. I had the bacon, brie & cranberry panini...chefs kiss...it was perfectly balanced in flavour. My husband had the big English breakfast, without mushrooms or tomatoes. He said it was gorgeous and loved the sausage, saying it was lovely tasting . He was impressed with the bread. I had a vanilla/caramel latte, and it was fabulous. We will definitely be back as we live 25 minutes away, and it's worth the trip.
Outside it looks like an ordinary street cafe. We called in for a coffee on Weds. We found the service so warm and inviting followed by an enjoyable coffee . Noting they did a Sunday roast a weekly must for us we decided to give Tony and crew a try. Bingo PERFECT and the best in a long while. .. at almost half the average price we pay locally. We’ll be back Dietary restrictions: One of our group was celiac and catered for gravy
I had a sandwich and Chili cheese fries and I thought they were both absolute fire. The sandwich was godly, however I did think that the prices were a bit off. Service was good and the Ambiente is nice, I love the design and decorations.Food: 5/5
First time visiting here with my friend : will definitely be back : the staff were friendly and attentive: service was quick : we had jacket potatoes/ tuna/ mayo/ salad and drinks.Very reasonably priced and very generous portions of food.Food: 5/5
If you want to add cheese to any of your food then expect to pay an extra £3.50… for a small portion of generic ready grated cheese, Very low quality food, expensive prices and definitely not value for money whatsoever! Would never come again, If we had the option of walking out without paying then that is what we would have done, Boycott this place and eat out of a bin!
If you're ever in cornwall and your passing bodmin, this is a great place to get a great lunch wasn't expensive , portion was very generous , and the homemade tasteFood: 5/5
Really nice cafe. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Space a bit tight upstairs but there is further seating downstairs. Nice to be able to support a small local business that's providing a good service.Food: 5/5
