Super nice guy that runs it and clearly very passionate about his business, this makes the introduction to the room entertaining and builds a great start to the theme and puzzle. Good room with good attention to detail and construct. Cool magical themed puzzles very good. We did it as a family group with kids 8 and 10 years and had a great time Highly recommend
Went with my girlfriend and had an awesome time, could of done with an extra person or twos helping hand so would advise more than two unless you’re feeling smart, both looking forward to trying the new room out as well!
We've done dozens of escape rooms but "Retro" is by far the best. Brilliantly inventive, so much attention to detail, great theming, and fun puzzles. The host was fantastic too. Very funny and thoroughly invested in the whole show. I really liked the board of highlights at the end, nice touch. We'll be back soon for the next room.
Such a great way to spend an afternoon! We completed both rooms in a team of 2 and loved them both, the designs were immersive, the puzzles were challenging but still fun and everything was so well thought through. There were fun puzzles in the waiting rooms and the staff are around to give extra clues should you need them. We completed the rooms in our team of 2 but it would be a great experience to try out with a group of friends too!
We went as a group and as soon as we walked in the doors to get booked in the experience started. The staff were so welcoming and very passionate! We did the Merlin experience was one of a kind, so interactive, challenging and just overall amazingly fun! The staff helped to make it even more personalised by reading quotes from what was said in the room! Loved every minute. Highly recommend! Thanks guys!
As a group we have now been to both of the different rooms. Both are completely different experiences and completely unpredictable in how they are set up - full of surprises and details for participants to find. We all had an amazing time on both occasions and I can't wait for them to set up another room so we can go back! I really can't recommend this more - brilliant!
Loved it, the theme of the bank heist in an actual vault was BRILLIANT!!
Brilliant fun tonight! Kind of a spontaneous decision made at Pizza Hut with friends. Phoned up and we were lucky enough to be able to visit Merlin's Cave. Fabulous set design! Puzzles were fun and challenging and James, our host, was enthusiastic and welcoming. We had a great time. Thanks!
Great place with a welcoming host. There are a couple of rooms to try / escape from. A lot of effort is made from the host and the rooms are challenging enough not to be frustrating! My only fear is that repeat business may be hard if you work through and solve both rooms. I hope they change the rooms frequently enough to keep the crowds interested
Fantastic experience in both rooms, would highly recommend! Great fun for family, friends or work colleagues. Clever puzzles and enthusiastic hosts. Worth every penny. Can't wait for more rooms now!
