We exchanged some silver and old bills with James a few months ago. James has a fair no nonsense approach and you decide if you will proceed with the transaction. He gave us an honest appraisal and we left satisfied with the exchange. Very professional!

Hours are not the best but the owner  is reasonable willing to work with you on prices to get competitive with online dealer prices even with his high overhead. Love the tube of silver compass rounds I picked up there. Sorry I haven't been back but the hours are narrow and I'm in Campbellford. Will hit you up in the future when the stars align being in Peterborough between 10-2 with a stack of cash on me.

Walked in and sold some silver today, it was my first time in to this shop, the gentleman was polite and fair. I got what I was expecting to get for what I sold, there was no haggling he gave me a fair offer upfront. I see myself doing business with this shop in the future

I had my doubts, but was completely wrong. After phoning round, going as far afield as BC and New Brunswick, the best deal was right on my doorstep in Peterborough. The best price, simple quick, good honest service, no hassle. James is a straight Stella guy in an industry loaded with Pirates, trust him he  is good, you will not get a metals buyer any better.

Sold 2014 silver maples later to find out that the older coins are worth less. Also stated that this was the best investment and that he would give me exactly what I paid at any point. But recently told me he’d give almost $10 less and oz. I get it’s a business but don’t lie.

Closes at 2.. and wasn't open on Saturday when I tried to shop.. I'm not even bothering..  what business closes at 2pm?  Do they realize people have jobs? I'm.sure this placed missed out on Many Christmas shoppers because of this.. inwont bother trying to make it there by 2...I'd have to take the day off..

Respectful gentleman. Absolutely the best rates paid anywhere. No pressure whatsoever. I strongly recommend that you call around first to see for yourself that you are getting the best price, by far. But if you don't have the time, then you should definitely go to James Gold and Silver Buyers. Even if you have to drive a long way, James is worth the time.  He will treat you very well, and pay you the highest going rate for your jewelry bar none.  Please understand that jewelry, even perfect condition, is sold as "scrap" in most cases. This is normal. If in doubt, call around first. If you want to get the most for your items, then you see James.

Blew away my expectations. James is super friendly, I have social anxiety and not once did I feel out of place. He was very inviting and the pay out given was more than double what I was expecting. Will send all my friends there and will only do gold related business with James. 5 stars.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the amount of money James paid out to me. I checked prices with other buyers and found that James paid almost double what the others offered me. I would go back to James anytime! Thanks again, Jill
