Brilliant Food and Fast Service. Food was lovely and was served fast. Staff was very professional and quick. The décor was modern and the place was clean. Good amount of parking as well. The price was the normal amount you would pay. Overall Brilliant, recommended.
I have been here quite a few times over the years and the food is always fantastic! Highly recommended for a decent meal in Brentwood and everything is freshly made. The portions are very generous for the price you pay. Staff are friendly and helpful too.
Christmas work meal. Although busy the service was fast & efficient. Bar staff were great, even mixing my drink they previously hadn't heard of. Although drink wad a little pricey.
So friendly and amazing food. Without us needing to ask they bought us dog food and water for our fur babies. The food was ready quickly and was nicely presented and so moreish! My second time here and will definitely be returning soon!

Big pub with hugh back garden with loads of seating, handy as it's a dog friendly pub. Went there on a sunday so had 2 menu's to choose from, plenty of options. Has a big car park also.
very good and cosy atmosphere. the staff were welcoming and nice. It was clean both on the inside and outside. Good food and big portions, and good prices.
Went to The Bull with 3 friends and hadn't booked. It was quite busy, but they found us a table. 2 of us had the Steak and Guinness pie, and it was big, full to the brim with really tender steak and gravy. Loads of veg and a jug of gravy. I must admit we both left some of the food, because there was so much. Def man size portions. It's the best pie I've ever had. My other 2 friends had the Caesar salad and said it was really nice. The staff were very nice and friendly, and the service was really good. I will def go back and would highly recommend a visit.
My Wife and I visited The Bull Brentwood on Sunday. Upon arrival we realised that we made a reservation for the wrong venue. The staff were amazing as they found us a table very quickly, despite the venue being very busy. Our drinks were served promptly and food arrived shortly after. In all my years, never have I visited a pub with such efficient and friendly staff. The Sunday roast was delicious! We will definitely be back! Keep up the good work folks!!!
The food at the Bull have never been disappointing and this evening was no different. Tempura vegetables, nice light batter with a chilli dip, followed with crispy pork belly. Service was quite good as well. Lovely. So why 3/5... It was so noisy that I could not talk to my wife or son sitting opposite to me. The tables either side of us were full with large groups with people literally shouting to each other. Perhaps some mood music to encourage a subdued atmosphere would help... or even a quite open policy of "quiet please" because clients would have come out to enjoy a quality family meal, not something like a shouting match at a football pitch. Perhaps some quiet seating areas could be established. I've now been put off returning at any time in the near future. It was not a pleasant experience.
