I called in for a drink after walking up from Belper. The beers I tried were spot on and the big seat by the side of the fire is far too comfortable! I haven't tried eating there yet but everyone I've spoken to reckon the snap is excellent. With the bus stop outside the front door, what more could you ask for? UPDATE - I've since eaten there and the food was fantastic. It wasn't cheap but it was definitely worth it! I'll be back!

Returned to the Black Swan for my second visit with my family, this time for Sunday Lunch. This is the best Sunday roast around!Everything beautifully cooked and full of flavour. We all loved it and it will be our "place to go" from here on in, why would you make do with anything less? Very busy but good atmosphere, good service love the surroundings. Well done Danny, can't wait to visit in the summer, it will be amazing.👍🤗

Food was superb! Building is fantastic and really lovely. Service needs to improve massively, as they needed a lot of reminding to get things we'd asked for.
