Food was good however the service definitely needs a bit of work. Firstly a dish was missed off our order and then we were served mushy peas with steak!! ..a very odd combination. The waitress forgot to provide steak knifes. Didn't ask once if our meals were ok, and then forgot to ask at the end if we wanted desserts. Was left wondering whether this was a table or bar service. However I have to say that the food was pretty good so will definitely come back again.

Great to see the Sun open again. The new landlord is keeping a good range of beer All of the meals we have had have been good quality and value. Handy place to walk to or stop at if on the trail

Great pub and beer. Not had meal but bar snacks are good. Home made scotch eggs are lovely.

Out with a friend today on a photographic shoot and dropped in for lunch. Excellent service and superb food. Went in by accident but will be going again...and again...and again
