The last publicans only lasted a short while, which is a shame. Since the new landlady has arrived I've only visited once. Happily the beer is still kept well pints are top quality. The landlady is welcoming but never noted her name. I'm not sure what plans are for food. I will update this once I know. For anyone visiting there is a beer garden and boule pitch by the spacious car park.

Small local pub with new management. Good range of ales and bar food. Small fireplace in saloon with coal fire on cold days. Pleasant ambiance which attacts both local farmers and passing customers.

2nd visit here recently. Friendly welcome, no music or tv, open fire lit, and Dexter the friendly dog. Intend trying food next time, as it looks and smells great. Lovely place!
