I don't normally do reviews, in fact this might be my first one... But this pub is lovely. I went in for tea by myself with my 2 dogs, one of which is very shy and a bit tricky to handle, but the staff were really accommodating as they could tell i needed a bit of assistance. They brought the dogs some water off their own backs which was nice. The food was really good. And brought out quick despite how busy they were. Really nice atmosphere and it's an old, good pub. Would advise people to book if they want to eat. But it didn't feel busy, because they were on it!

As always great food. But like last visit the staff are miserable and a bit rude. I do not see why they need to have a poor attitude, but we left with a bitter end to the evening.

A fantastic pub with a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. it is obvious to any diner that they really care about the hearty staples that they serve. The menu has enough variety for anyone and on top of that there's craft and cask beers and small batch gins. When you get comfortable in this vibrant but relaxed pub, trust me, you won't want to move.
