We ate here on Saturday night, first visit back after many years. Mussel starter and steak main with great wine. Great, all round.
We go to Portophinos regularly because we love it. It's welcoming, warm and feels like home. Michael's Mediterranean menu is fabulous Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from
We were there last night for my birthday. The food and the service were fantastic. I cannot wait to go back again. I would have posted photos but I was too busy enjoying the meal!
Amazing food, lovely place
Very friendly and welcoming restaurant. I would describe as old school, everything prepared from scratch and great pride taken by the chef. Delicious food with reasonable prices, inexpensive wine and pleasant surroundings. If you are in the area and you want a relaxed meal definitely worth a try.
A really well run classic Italian restaurant. Front of house is so welcoming and friendly and the food is fantastic. We had the mussels and pate to start followed by the carbonara and chicken risotto. All the food was super tasty but he risotto was off the scale - so flavoursome!! Would definitely recommend
My meal was the Polo Mela and I have to say it was very good, as was the service. I only give 5 stars to my very favourite meals, so my 4* rating here indicates a very enjoyable meal. No stunning, but very good.
