I stumbled upon this brilliant place purely by accident and boy am I glad I found it.What a great find.I must have walked past it hundreds of times but never saw it as I always walk the other way along the street as we are fond of the Italian restaurant on the corner. But for some reason we walked the other way and WOW,there's a pub here.We ventured in and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place itself was clean and spacious. My only gripe was they stop serving food a little too early. But that said the menu was so strange we HAD to try it.Only in Glasgow would they serve you Smiley faces with a grown up twist...Genuis.I loved them.Mum said her gammonwas the BEST shes had in a LONG time.Go check this place out
Right in the heart of the city so mostly popular with local workers for their lunches and post work drinks. Has quite a few large screens so not a bad place to watch sport. Not the best location as it’s down an alley so can be a bit shaded but it has plenty of seats and is no frills
Attending an evening event at this location with 20-30 other people. Ideal environment in the back room for a group of this size. Large selection of beers. Food was average quality but not overpriced. Not much to say about service as the food was ordered via a QR code. Would go back!Food: 4/5
Order - Fish and chips with a pint of Carling. Meal deal! Delicious and great value for money, especially at the moment during this great depression advertised as £6 but it's actually £7. Time - 20~ mins Presentation - see pics. Looks good. Quality - 4/5 - It's fish and chips, the batter was nice and crunchy and the fish was nice, wasn't too fishy. The chips weren't fries. Proper thick. I didn't touch the green stuff The pint of Carling which came in the deal was decent too there's a selection of drinks to choose from Quantity - 2/5 - You get what you pay for. Small plate makes it look bigger than it actually is. The portion size is below average but still fills you up for a lunch. Value for money - Brilliant, some places charge you £7 for a drink on its own, throw in fish and chips and your definitely onto a winner. Surely they must be losing money here your stealing it off them at this price lol Additional - I would definitely come here again if you are looking for a quick lunch with a workmate. A must buy!
Brilliant live music and atmosphere! If you love spicy food then I recommend the pork bao buns and dirty fries as there was loads of raw jalapeños and was perfect for me. My only criticism is that there isn't as much seating and it was with luck a woman leaving noticed my friend and I trying to find somewhere and offered us her table. Even if you don't get a seat the bar is great to drink at
Can’t fault the staff for their great service, we also had some food even though we hadn’t requested to eat at the initial booking stage of our table. Great wee Glesga Pub. No complaints from any of our 7 at our day oot.Food: 5/5
Good atmosphere old school pub , plenty room , for lotsnn BM of laughs and good screens for the footy , what more do you want Food: 3/5
great atmospheric place to have an ale and some barfood. staff is very friendly, atmosphere is perfect, not to loud during the day and snacks were delicious, totally recommend it! Vegetarian options: many snacks/dishes for vegetarians and also some vegan options… great!
Class pub! Lily, Flynn, Jodie and the chef aidan are unreal servants to this amazing establishment, the beer is cold and the pizza is hot. Lily was especially great at pouring pints!Food: 5/5
Ordered a steak it was tiny. The steak was well cooked, steak was perfectly cooked.Pint of peroni £5.75. Cheaper than the maltmanFood: 3/5
