Update September 2024:nHonestly a bit disappointed with my most recent visit. Having been coming here for a roast the last few years, since the change to get rid of table service and instead require all ordering at the bar, it's really gone down hill. On our most recent visit, despite placing two orders for food at the bar at the exact same time, the orders came over half an hour apart meaning half the table had finished before the other food even arrived. The food was still tasty, but arrived luke warm and we weren't informed that items in the meal were out of stock until after the food had arrived and we had to ask where it was.nnI'd really recommend bringing back proper table service for meals. It was a much better and more enjoyable experience and you're doing a disservice to your previously great reputation.nnMy Original review:nVery good roast dinner can highly recommend the beef, solid looking menu all round. Is a bit on the pricey side but the quality is good. When busy the restaurant can be very loud.nGood outside space with heaters, looks like it's be a good beer garden in the summer.
Thank you for a great meal on a busy, busy night Euro semi-final. I don't say this often, but what a delicious vegan burger. Seriously! Also, thank you for swapping chips for a crisp salad.
Me and my partner came for a quick lunch and a drink but were pleasantly surprised by the quality offered! Their selection of beers is fantastic and the staff are so welcoming and friendly, we will definitely be returning soon!
Great place to stop off for drinks or for some food! Good selection of draft beers, Ive tried some of their smaller dishes and they were tasty! Nice beer garden out in the back which is perfect for a summers day
Very disappointing burger. I must have got a bad one cos it looked nothing like the photos on here.. it was really tough, which I've never experienced in a burger before, and gristly. Tasted like it had been batch cooked and reheated.
