A lovely Samuel Smith's pub with a great selection of both on tap and bottled beers. There's a green outside which gets busy on sunny summer days so it follows that there can be a bit of a wait at the bar, but persevere, it's well worth it!

Was shut. Need to update times. Spoke to a local and she said it's never open.

Beautiful building, cheap drinks and food and very friendly regulars. Such a wonderful building,full of history. We stayed for alot longer than we ment to. Plus it's by a beautiful park and the river, it's just great.

Wonderful olde style little pub with field opposite for summer drinking, and amazing value!
