Great vibe, great experience, great people

A good pub with good entertainment of music and art events but a little off the beaten track unless you are a local. There is a room for you to hire for special events like weddings etc. The food is good, well priced and good value for money. The staff are really friendly. I always feel parking is a problem for big party occasions

Great atmosphere. The bands are great. Staff friendly. Brilliant place to meet friends and have a drink.

Cosy place and lovely staff :

Small friendly pub, excellent for a small venue. We went on a Sunday afternoon when they have a once a month soul afternoon. Outside area for smoking, plenty of seating inside, friendly staff and free parking outside on a Sunday if spaces are available.

Nice place, great little stage in the back room.

Really nice place for a chat. Good value for money, great food and snacks. Heavily underrated!

Great bar staff!

Great pub to rent out for an event or large group get together. Excellent service by bar staff and access to a separate room with area for a band or dancing

Second visit here, for the excellent Word Wise evening. Not many draught real ales on offer, but a cracking pint of Blue Moon. Very friendly bar staff.
