Welcome to our page. We are a part of Wyevale Garden Centres, bringing joy and inspiration to everyone's garden.

Story

The centre started life as a mushroom farm and then narrowly missed becoming a garden centre when the subsequent custodians were granted planning permission but failed to act upon it. It was only when Country Gardens bought the site in 1987 that it became a fully fledged garden centre, rising to the heady heights of being home to the group's head office shortly afterwards!

We sell top quality growing stock, gardening products and garden furniture as well as birdcare products, floristry, houseplants and books. We also have a fabulous giftware and greeting card department and at Christmas, an inspiring display of decorations, lights and trees. Our wonderfully light conservatory style restaurant has a great outside seating area for warm days and sells delicious home-made snacks and lunches. At the cornerstone of our business however, are the staff; friendly and helpful, they are horticultural experts who like nothing better than dispensing good practical advice to expert and amateur gardeners alike. Five of them have worked at the centre for more than ten years!
