A very nice traditional cafe. Nice banter and polite service. An excellent place for a great big breakfast. The food is cooked well, and cooked fresh to order. We found it to be good value and clean. The cafe is like Dr Who’s Tardis, there is much more room inside than it may at first appear.

We sat in their cafe garden on a sunny Spring day, it was glorious! I loved their garden. The staff were so naturally friendly and relaxing. No fake smiles or anything. There was such a chilled out warmness to them that I felt like a guest at a friend's house than a customer, it was great and special. Their food was very filling and I enjoyed it. I had some foreign people with me, and I took great pride in them eating here. It is what the British eat and love. When I travel this way again, I will be looking to come back here.

A really good place to go when you're getting your car washed across the road.

Spot on breakfast. Ask for black pudding . They have it and there's no extra charge . Delicious .

Nice food dropped one start due to there being a lot of grease on the plate. Bit of kichen roll would go a long way.
