The food wasn't bad, but if it wasn't the only place open at 21:30 I'd have left long before the food arrived. I can live with the 10 pound minimum per guest, but when the server seems annoyed that we're only two people, then insists we order and receive our appetizers and mains at the same time, then stands over us menacingly while we're ordering to pressure us into.. ordering faster, I guess? It certainly didn't make me want to spend more. I have never been made to feel less welcome at a restaurant. The bartender was friendly.

Food tastes great, but service is quite bad. The menu is not clear about what's included in a dish, and there's a weird policy to ensure customers pay 20 pounds or more. When you ask for paying by card, they insist on cash. We got something in our order wrong because the guy wrote down the wrong thing. Instead of just changing it for the correct dish because it was his fault he charged us for the price difference

Eat here regularly. I live in skye. Sometimes can be busy but on average an excellent place to eat in Portree. Always know what your getting. A great friendly welcome. Great food. One of my favourite evening places to eat in Portree.

This is not an Indian Restaurant.. just the name is Taste of India. Worst service with the attitude of forcing customers to ensure bill is above £10 per person, when asked he mentioned “we get many customers daily and we cannot go to each customer 3 times as the customer can not afford £10” food was pathetic.

Not at all the taste of India. Ordered biryani, mix kabab but it was waste of money. Not recommended.
