My wife and I loved the Co-op in Portree so much. I never thought we'd miss a food store after our 2 week trip to the U.K. It's true. It was a pleasant change of pace from our way-too-big grocery stores in America. The Co-op had everything a tourist visiting Portree could need and the prices are so reasonable compared to food stores in the USA. We loved their chocolate milk (best I've ever had), banana milk, the pastries, sandwiches, teeth & lips candy, and boxed iced latte drinks. The latte cost 1 pound and in the USA you'd pay about 3 to 4 times as much for something like that. The Co-op is the best food store ever. You have two fans in North Carolina!
