Stumbled accross this little spot on a walk. A pleasant little discovery. A nice green space with a blooming botanical section. Peaceful, I saw a playground for the little ones and nice for dog walking and quiet walks or runs.
A nice park for a walk or a picnic - a hidden gem. Well maintained and usually not very busy. Big playground including zip line and water sprinklers turned on in the summer. And a second smaller playground at the top of the park. A catering van with drinks, snacks and icream during busy season. Toilets not always open.
Always love this park. Lots of different areas for the dog to go sniff and explore! Wish the toilets would be open more frequently though. I think only open at the weekend. Usually quiet and so a nice peaceful walk.
One of the highlights of living in the area is this wonderful park. I go for a stroll through Wells Park regularly and it is so huge that no matter how many people there are, you still feel like there's so much space to wander. It has a separate play area for under 5's as well as a park for older children. There's also an outdoor gym, x2 Tennis courts, a Basketball court and x2 two small ponds with different species of ducks to familiarise yourself with. The park rangers take great care of the park and it is always kept tidy. There's public toilets too and sometimes there's a food truck and ice-cream van parked inside the park for all your snack needs. I highly recommend Wells Park as a hidden gem in South East London
Could do with some repairing but nice to have a green space. No toilets open and no cafe anymore. Kids playground could do with a face-lift. Lots of the walking routes paving is broken and jagged which is not very accessible and the park is not lit up at all in the dark.
Very nice environment to hang out, especially in the summer. Few activities and everyone enjoys themselves. Moreover very safe, as the workers are always around and is very approachable, helpful and interacts with everyone eho uses the park.
Somehow the first time I've caught this park in nice weather. You'd never guess how close surrounding streets/cars etc. are; everything feels very calm, secluded, and lovely.
Lovely, well kept park. Clean and neat. Cute little van serves tea and coffee and delicious homemade cake, the van may only be there at weekends. 2 excellent children's playgrounds. All in all a charming park.
Well made paths and looked Like a good circuit for exercise. Nice duck pond at the end of a series of ponds below crystal palkace radio tower above. Less busy then the main crystal palace parking and pretty good parking restrictions. See appypark for details
Always love to visit this park a lovely park that fits all ages you can find a nice e children play area up to 6 years where you can take your toddler and younger children then you have a play area with swings and nice activities for a children and teenagers there are a very nice water sports available in summer for walkers and dog walks this place is a haven nice bushes and pound you can find with ducked and other water birds that makes thus park more attractive for kids to elderly they keen to watch wild life you can find a lot of other birds living in this park not only bird st evening you can see local foxes come out from woodland if you like to sit and watch birds or even flowers bed again lovely place to visit due to a good presentation of trees and other plants you can see a different changes in all a round the year and especially spring is always attract you in different colours and autumn take you an other world of leaves fall strongly recommend for to visit
