A former private Georgian estate features a playground, skatepark, football field and tennis courts. The Grade II Listed Belair House aside an irregular shaped murky lake surrounded by a fringe of desultory light woodland, a vestige of the River Effra, the centrepiece here. More recent lacklustre maintenance and minimal ongoing upkeep evident around the lake surrounding - a location not lacking appeal. Pleasant thought not excessively so,
Lovely park, perfect for a ball game with the doggies. Not so good for long walks
Great park to walk or rest, also nice big football ground to have a nice time. You will also find 2 tennis courts and a skateboarding place, also a playground for the small children’s is a nice plus!! Also a nice carpark and a cafe on site
A cute and hidden park neighbouring Dulwich park. There is a tennis court to use if you are a tennis aficionado or player trainee, amateur or professional but you would need to get access/permission from Southwark Council. If I am near the area, I might visit the park again - and a lovely plus is that it's not a far walk to/from the Dulwich Picture Gallery! Restrooms: There are, but as with other public parks no in the best maintenance. Dog-friendliness: Dog owners are safely and happily walk their dogs there.
We were asked to provide casino tables for a school fundraiser here. Lovely venue would definitely recommend for a private function. Staff were very helpful and good parking.
Had a wonderful afternoon with family wandering around the park with a coffee in hand from the café at the south circular entrance and we met many friendly dogs too.
Beautiful park. Safe for my chihuahua to wonder around. Nice people. Safe. Will go back soon Dog-friendliness: Strongly recommended to dogs owners. Picnic area: Anywhere is amazing
Peaceful park with water, flowerbeds, open spaces, playground and tennis courts.
Lovely park, although a little unkempt, but maybe that is part of a rewilding process.. The main house looks a bit run-down, but has a lovely big lawn area in front of it. Belair cottage private has been renamed, and the garden there is not at all how I remember it when I was little.
A nice walking park with free parking space.
