Love it. A little bit of something for everyone. Nice walks, gentle hills, ponds, waterfowl, tennis courts, bmx track, cafe, lido, paddling pools. All amazing but my favourite is the walled garden in early summer xxx
I don't really know where to start as the place is so fantastic, and the staff are absolutely amazing. They grow so many things here I really couldn't list them all, so I have taken lots of pictures so you can see every part of the Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses. As I said the staff are amazing, they help everyone in the community including school children by teaching them about all the plants they grow. When we arrived today there was a mother and baby group using the facilities. They have volunteers that come and help, this is great for people that live in flats and like gardening, it also helps people that feel isolated to get out and meet people. Anyway I could go on for ages, but I won't, just go and see it for yourselves, you definitely won't be disappointed. If you like this review, can you please click the like symbol below. Thank you!
We took our 4 year old grandson to the Autumn kids workshop - exploring our senses. Fantastic, educational workshop.
We organised the birthday party for our 6 year old daughter at the greenhouses and it was the perfect experience! Beautiful location; ample space; very kind team working on the day; super helpful. All the kids had an amazing time!!
Went as part of a school trip. It was great for tiny explorers and green fingers! However did feel the tour could’ve been a little less rushed. Would highly recommend and will be back!
Welcoming community of volunteers looking after the gardens, doing various workshops throughout the year. Good to visit with family and friends over the weekend and buy some lovely products made there like jam, pesto, vinegar, dried flowers and plants.
Lovely park and full of surprises of plants too. Especially the secret garden. Adore the only mature tree in the little garden that impressed me so much. I'm shocked about what plants that I could found in that little garden. Love the way the benches position. Could spend all afternoon just sitting there without moving around but you will so busy with your eyes that wondering the name of plants that you like. That time I went it was the poppies flowering season. So colourful...you never can imagine about it. To be honest I've been to the park many times but only discovered that little garden. The birds singing added the best hormony in the nature. Is hard to picture it without seeing the real thing. One of the best memories that I'll remember for my life. Thanks you for the staffs that put so much effort to maintaining the garden. For sure Is a good place if you want to be alone. It's does help you to relaxing and meantime still can enjoy the views of the colourful little garden. I'm still can't believe that how could I missed that little garden. I wondering any other little garden in brockwell park? Maybe is the time to do another treasure hunt in the park soon!?
Beautiful and peaceful. Plenty to partake in if you want to. Or just relax.
Interesting place to learn about various vegetables and herbs. I enjoyed learning more about bees during my visit. I shall certainly visit again whenever I can. I also signed up to volunteer so I am waiting for an induction.
What a fantastic hidden gem! Popped in out of curiosity as I'd been to the greenhouses before. However followed the signs and had a lovely walk through the orchard, ferns, bug hotel and herb garden. Beautiful flowers and smells, plus the bee aviary looks interesting and fun. Finished at the greenhouse where I bought a healthy tomato plant for £2 I gave an extra £1 as it was such experience well worth a visit then a sit in the flower garden to appreciate the beauty!
