Lovely local park. Great for picnic, sports, walks, exploring. Woodland walks bring you so much closer to nature. You will find sports facilities, gym equipment, children area, cafe and many more attractions to really make your day.
Lovely local park. Large open games area, children's football played at the weekend. Good children's play area. Coffee kiosk open at the weekend. Fabulous woodland walk around the circumference. Autumn colours have been spectacular this year.
Nice little park, they have just put in a new wooden play area as well as already having a small swing/slide area and a small sensory garden is being put in on the opposite side. It has a coffee kiosk with 2 tables, only one umbrella but a very lovely man runs it. We had a lovely coffee here. Restrooms: The toilets were open and had a ramp to get into them but we didn't use them. Dog-friendliness: People were walking there dogs Picnic area: They have benches dotted along the path but the only tables belong to the coffee kiosk so bring your blankets for a picnic, that's what we do.
Great place spend so much time here. Run walk and chill Well looked after and just a jewl in London Borough of Lewishams Crown.
As my pictures show, the trees in this corner were damaged in Storm Eunice in February 2022. This corner is an enclosed park with two gates which is designed for dogs and training. You can let them off the lead and they can't run away.
It's a beautiful park with a very touching back-story.
There is so much going on in this almost-hidden park. On a map you might see a big field with a strip of trees around the edge, but there’s much more going on. The grassy main area is the size of several football pitches with a tarmac path all the way round that’s perfect for kids to bike / scooter on. It has two playgrounds, slightly annoyingly separated by the toilet/changing block. There’s also a nature space. The trees around the side are deeper than expected and verge on a wood on the western side with their own paths, separate from the main area. Two secondary grass areas are perfect of you want to be a bit more secluded, have a picnic under trees, etc. The park can be accessed from all sides via paths, though Longhill is probably the best for parking as you don’t have to walk uphill and it is closed off at the southern end, so quiet.
Great place to exercise out doors. Whatever your pursuit. Mini open-air gym-in-the-park. Ample football space and or cricket. Jogging track etc.
Live just around the corner from this park we have had lovely walks there with our dog I say walks I am in a wheelchair and my friend pushes me while we walk the dog. Playground: Play ground is all caged off so kids can play quite happily there with out getting bit by a strange dog or any strangers as all the kids are told to scream if someone goes in the kids area there are scared of Restrooms: There is a toilet in the park u just have to find it Dog-friendliness: All dog have there own areas away from the kids as there are.a.lot of kid scared of animals Picnic area: There is a picnic area bit haven't used it in along time so not sure where it is in the park
Lovely local park with good facilities for cricket and table tennis, picnic areas, and woodland paths for exploring. Run to an extent by enthusiastic Friends of the park, so please treat well and take rubbish home! Lots more there now including a café serving sandwiches and burgers as well as soft drinks, and an ice cream van often too. Now added an outdoor mini gym and a sensory garden.
