Great spot for a walk during lockdown. Proper muddy so wellies or boots are essential.

A beautiful green space in busy South East London. The wood is a great place for exploring, walking and a haven for dog  walkers. I was told by a passing couple that it's really popular with art/fashion students too.

providing the weather such a peaceful walk and explore well taken care of and still leaving it as natural as possible a great find if your not originally from the area .

Lovely wood with trails. Unfortunately very busy November weekend - never seen so many children and dogs! So not peaceful but nice all the same. Takes less than an hour to walk all round.

Small area to explore, you forget your in a city. But lots of fences ruin vibe/slightly over bearing big brother feel and are questionably placed in terms of functionality.

Beautiful and peaceful place though it can get quite busy, especially weekends. Perfect for dog walking and families with small children that doesn’t mind getting muddy.

Not a single coffee shop for my chay latte in the whole forest! Also, lots of mud, no boardwalks and I think I've even seen a wolf, the rats of the woods!

Nice woods, but foully muddy at the moment. Dog mostly didn’t mind

Wish it was bigger but  worth the trip.

I enjoy my visits here many birds to see and so peaceful
