The hotel offered a great breakfast with plenty of options and a relaxing steam room and sauna, which were free to use. These amenities provided a nice way to unwind, even after a long day. However, there were significant drawbacks. The deposit policy was not transparent—advertised as fully refundable £50 at check in, we were later charged £1.20 without prior notice and when we asked were told its the policy. Zero transparency and quite dishonest. The room layout was also problematic. Initially, we were given a room with an open bathroom offering no privacy, though they agreed to change it to one with a door. Lastly, for £190 a night, the lack of a bathrobe in our room was disappointing. Hotels at lower price points typically include this, so this was a letdown. Overall, an average stay with some nice perks but marred by a lack of transparency and some inconvenient room features. Noteworthy details: They take a £1.2 deposit from the so called £50 at check in and don't tell you before hand.
Slept really nicely here on the very comfy beds. The staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast really let it down for the price. Was more like a Premier Inn bland and boring, not much fresh breakfast than the high standard they’d promised.Rooms: 5/5
Honestly a great place. A little pricey but the amenities are pretty worth it. The breakfast is the best I've had in a long time. I need their cookies recipe. Room was great and clean, great location. Great staff.Rooms: 5/5
Our second stay in a Melia Hotel and this did not disappoint! Service was amazing from start to finish, the best welcome by Jess on reception she is a credit to your brand. Our room had everything we needed, with extra touches to make our stay so comfortable. The ambiance and aroma of the hotel is fabulous, loved the breakfast it was so flavoursome and fresh. The bar for drinks was our favourite spot to unwind during our stay. Parking is so easy and close to the hotel and great value. Situated very close to the tram stop with easy access to the Co-Op arena and further into town. We will definitely be returning!
This hotel isn't for everyone, e,g if you are traveling with a family. Know that the bath is open and although there is also the shower cubicle, it has a frosted glass wall . Other than that it's pretty good. Mini bar in the room for those who need a fridge.Rooms: 4/5
During my stay at the INNSiDE Manchester Hotel, Dom provided exceptional service, transforming my visit into a memorable experience. Her warm smile and kind demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel truly valued and cared for. Dom's professional and attentive approach stood out. Her dedication and kindness greatly enhanced my stay. Thank you, Dom, for making my time at the hotel so enjoyable and comfortable. However my experience at Gino's INNSiDE Manchester restaurant was way out of line - the restaurant Assistant Manager was unprofessional, biased and unapologetic.
Staff and service really top notch. Rooms nice size and clean. If you have membership the price is lower. And the bar which serves food is doggo friendly!! as are the bedrooms for an additional fee.Rooms: 5/5
Excellent, family friendly hotel. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options, including for Vegans! Great gym, sauna & steam room - there's also a fussball table on the 1st floor which me and the kids enjoyed playing with! Looking forward to coming back.Rooms: 5/5
Great location. Great staff. Modern. Free bar with soft drinks. I found the bed & pillows uncomfortable, stayed 4 nights , didn't get good sleep. Maybe it was me. But great place.Rooms: 4/5
The staff were all excellent and the location as great! Our room, while big, was very uncomfortable. The bed was extremely hard and the hearing wouldn’t turn off even though it’s summer. It was miserably hot in the room. The windows don’t open and there are no fans so the air couldn’t circulate. On the second leg of the trip we were in an EasyHotel and were much more comfortable for a fraction of the price.
