I recently bought a used car from this dealership which I believe is the second time I've used them. The service I've experienced personally from the sale through to servicing has been exceptional. I buy a lot of Land Rovers from local dealers and every time I have engaged with Cheltenham, I'm reminded why they are my preferred dealer. The staff are friendly and personable, the range of cars they seem to get are always the best locally and I've always left feeling like I've had a good deal. Well done guys, keep up the excellent work.
Absolutely awful. I’ve used this garage several times and each time has been disappointing, frustrating and substandard. Above all their customer service is abysmal. I had to phone five times to get an update on my car, each time being promised a return call which never happened. The quality of the work was also of a poor standard and they introduced new faults that needed to go back and get fixed, wasting more of my time. We actually didn’t buy our new Range Rover from this garage due to the poor customer service very unhelpful and disinterested, preferring to travel an hour away to a better garage. Now it’s going the same way for the aftercare and servicing I’d rather drive miles out of the way to the good garage than have them waste more of my time.
Very interesting experience to say the least!!!! Popped in a couple of times before purchasing my used Disco Sport and dealt with a newish sales person. Purchased the vehicle and was expecting to pickup a week later. During the week before pickup i was still waiting for certain documentation i had requested, nothing. Day of collection i was phoned by the sales person i was dealing with that i was unable to collect my car due to invoicing error, which later turned out to be a lie. I did collect my vehicle later on the scheduled date thanks to the manager and Adam stepping in and completing the transaction. Adam is very polite and helpful, wish i had dealt with him from start. I just hope any future issues, servicing etc are effortless.
Over the past few years I have had a few experiences with the Dealership at Cheltenham Stratstone and quite frankly they were not the best. Certainly not what you'd expect from the luxury end of the market. However, having given some very frank feedback I hoped things would change, I'm all for second chances. My Disco4 had to have some work done that took some time 6 wks and I wanted to make sure it was done by a main dealer. Throughout the whole process I had efficient and professional assistance from each member of the team I came into contact with and have continued to have excellent after service care. The management team has changed recently and I know they are trying to change the problems that have existed. At least they are keenly aware that there needed to be a massive improvement and well done to them for doing so and changing the mind of this very sceptical customer. I look forward to seeing if they maintain the now vastly improved customer service. There is always room for improvement, hence the 4* not 5* but not far off.
We have a 4 month old evoque. It needed new door locks and the start/stop needed fixing in the first 2 months. Currently it intermittently won't lock, the boot open warning light comes on when the boot is firmly closed, the rear windscreen wiper starts on its own and won't switch off and the interior light switches on and off when it feels like it. Which is all very distracting when you're driving. All of this backed up by awful service from Stratstone Cheltenham - they told my wife she must be knocking the boot release button with her knee! They then disconnected the button and said they'd call in a few days. No call, problem still happening and the car sat unlocked for hours yesterday. Unhelpful, slow and unresponsive staff who try and fob you off rather than deal with issues. Not what we expected when we placed our money on a premium / rugged brand. Poor and very likely to be the last Land Rover we buy.
Unbelievable bad service. Walked around the show room for 20 minutes yesterday before someone finally approached us. Then spent over an hour with a salesman in an attempt to spend some money Was told we would have a value on our car for part exchange by the end of the day. It is now lunch time the following day and we've heard nothing! Whilst there a guy was complaining about their service and that all his friends now go to Land Rover Hereford, now I understand why. Worst dealer ever!
This Customer Service and engagement by this business is awful: Have you ever had everyone is busy at the moment but we'll get someone to call you back' as a perpetual loop? No follow through bad communications. 1. We bought a 6-month old LR Discovery and were fortunate to have had a windfall of cash to do so. In short, this dealership didn't seem to want to know. Totally unproductive and uncommunicative in selling us one. In the end we ended up travelling to Yorkshire to get one from a dealership from up there. 2. Since having the LR we have done servicing and some work under warranty at Stratstone and these guys just don't communicate with their customers, dont keep you up to speed with whats going on, don't pass messages on and just don't come back to you. When pulled up on the issue, a receptionist will apologise profusely and then the loop begins again. Try and avoid the frustration of dealing with this dealership. For the amount of money you pay for servicing and the works I would advise going elsewhere.
Recently bought our perfect car, RR Evoke. Ken was our immaculate salesman and we were really pleased with him. He wasn't pushy at all unlike some garages who harass you into a sale. Very helpful, knew his stuff, showed us how it all worked and the sale and paperwork were dealt with swiftly. Picked up the car the next morning and even had a lovely bouquet of flowers for me. 10/10 Ken! Receptionists were friendly too and got us drinks. Thanks. Steve and Iona.
What an absolutely first class service! Can't thank Mollly, Harry and Adam for the service received today from Stratstone Land Rover, Cheltenham. Having purchased many cars over the years I have been seriously impressed by these lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble and they really went the extra mile!!! Can't recommend them highly enough.
Amazing customer service experience The new arrival of Adam Page is clearly a very good move ... no mess approach and got the job done effortlessly. Best deal around after I researched 3 other dealerships for the same Land Rover Sport. Literally could not have wished for better service. Sascha Jones also made this entire process seamless.
