Not many drivers ,which is fine -no call for more. But getting back to Ipswich 10 miles up A14 is difficult to arrange after 11:30 pm. Also ,our last driver used the outside lane unnecessarily nearly all the way along said A14 to Ipswich one night.
When I went in the taxi it was awkward. The women who’s name I do not remember 1. Did not talk 2. When she did talk it sounded rude. 3. She had an angry expression and angry tension the whole time which made it even more awkward. 5. When we called and finally got a taxi they took a long time. I will not recommend this place to others.
I've been using this taxi service for a long while I feel safe juilie is such a lovely lady . We chat away . I ve made a friend for life . Please give Stowmarket taxi s a ring give the firm a chance. Ignore the bad reviews please. You're s kindly from myself carolann
Absolutely fabulous service. Answered quickly and fitted us in later that evening. A really friendly and kind driver, ensured everyone was in safely before driving off. Reasonable price Used in the past, happy to use again in future

Dreadfull - phoned 24th Oct.2023 to arrange taxi to BSE. Call diverted 1st warning sign. Confirmed by male voice that taxi would be outside office at 5pm oon the 25th wife coming out of hospital Called from train to confirm would be there at 4.50pm - again diverted to female voice. Confirmed that taxi would be there, outside office. No taxi, waited/phoned again - on way! Gave up at 5.30pm and caught train to BSE, A1 taxis helpfull and home 45m late. Office unattended, and a mess inside. Licencing authorities? Also others waiting. Can there not be a 'no star' category?
Highly recommend, especially Jordan. He was the only one that answered my call whilst looking for a taxi in stowmarket and squeezed me in with his other jobs, to be picked up at 6am where other taxis didn't even want to work that early. They pulled it out of the bag when I was facing a long walk home in the dark. Having initially apologised that there were no cars, I received a call back about 10 mins later saying they had found a driver if I still needed a car. 10/10 for service and many thanks to Sally for doing a late shift.
