We have used David at Needham Taxis on numerous occasions taking us from Needham Market to Stansted as well as further afield. He has been 100% reliable and excellent value for money. In addition David has considerable knowledge of timings and routes so even when there have been problems on the road we have always made our flights. Highly recommended.
Driver was an incredibly lovely and friendly woman, made me feel comfortable in an unfamiliar area. Phone booking was quick, and the taxi arrived shortly after.
Broke down with kids on a140 wanted a cab 5 miles up the road, only cab company within any radius, basically refused by stating it was a hours wait then quickly changed it to a hour and a half when she realised I would probably take it, didnt mind paying the 15 pound charge but seems like receptionist didn't want to help at all. Imagine a young lady with kids. Wont recommend.
Lesley is a very good driver very kind and polite and I would 100% always use this taxi service.
Last time I used this company was probably about 10 years ago, same problem happened again when I used them last week . No problem with the service apart from the fact that the driver answered his phone several times during the journey. NOT hands free, [I probably should have said something to him] it was a old small phone he picked up , I didn't feel comfortable , at 1 point he wondered over the central line. A car started to pull out of a junction , he did react but while holding the phone I wasn't reassured. I'd booked a return journey but cancelled this and got another company . I will not be using Needham taxis again.
No airs & graces on the telephone but don't be put off by that because the actual service is excellent. I felt very safe and was looked after extremely well, in fact better than any other taxi firm that I've used for the past 40 years. Will most definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
Worst phone call I have ever experienced, would give 0 stars if I could. Gave the address of where to pick up from, he asked where it was, wouldnt take a post code and said they won't pick us up and put the phone down on me!! Rude is an understatement!
Booked for 11.30 today I waited outside my home from 11.25. Car did not arrive, upon contact them after 3 calls i got to speak to someone who told me that the driver knocked at my door, this is not possible. Very disappointed in what in the past has been a good service, due to this I had to cancel a Drs appointment & re book again in 3 weeks time. Feel I can only give one star
Great service. Arrived on time and Lesley was lovely to chat to. Will use again.
Great service but they couldn't accommodate me this time. Lovely lady stopped her taxi to check her diary for me. Would definitely recommend.
